Founded by veterans from the U.S. Military and Intelligence Community, Erudio Corp brings expertise in cybersecurity training, incident response, and vulnerability assessment, tailored to support complex cyber missions. Our name, Erudio, is Latin for “to refine from a rough state,” reflecting our dedication to a transformative approach. Beyond technical skill-building, we believe in nurturing the full potential of cyber teams, cultivating knowledge, wisdom, and character to meet today’s most challenging technical and strategic demands with precision and insight.
Meet the Team
Dr. DJ Hovermale
Affectionately known as 'Cyber Yoda' or 'The Minister of Cyber Magic', Dr. DJ Hovermale is a widely-recognized expert in military cyber exercises and an award-winning instructor.
While working for the National Security Agency, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and Science Applications International Corporation he was instrumental in the advancement of capstone-level cyber exercises for United States Cyber Command (Cyber Guard and Cyber Flag), the Army National Guard (Cyber Shield), and the United States Army Reserve (WOOLLY KNIT). He has also worked to create customized training solutions for military cyber operators and cyber exercise assessors. He received his undergraduate degree in linguistics from the University of Kentucky in 2004 and received his Ph.D. in computational linguistics from Ohio State in 2011. He is a graduate of the Joint Advanced Cyber Warfare Course (JACWC) and the Harvey Brightman Master Teacher Program.
DJ has received countless awards for his teaching and for his contributions to the military cyber community, including the Order of Thor from the Military Cyber Professionals Association.
He is dedicated to giving back to the community whenever and however he can, serving as a scoutmaster and district commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America, coaching youth sports teams, and mentoring cyber teams at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. He has a passion for education that is very difficult to match and he has mentored hundreds of young cyber professionals from the military, government, and academic institutions over the past 20 years.
DJ lives in Huntsville, AL with his wife and four children where he also serves as volunteer clergy in his church and teaches cybersecurity courses at a local university.
Stan Lozovsky
Stan Lozovsky has served over twenty years in the Alabama National Guard. Commissioned in 2002 as an Infantry Officer and branch detailed to Field Artillery, he is currently serving as the Commander of the 175th Cyber Protection Team for the Alabama National Guard. He has served in Iraq and Afghanistan in support OIF and OEF where he received a Bronze Star for his service. He worked as a systems engineer at SAIC prior to founding H2L Solutions, Inc. in 2014 which is a Inc. 5000 company. He has served in a variety of technical and non-technical positions in his civilian and military career supporting the Army and the Missile Defense Agency.
Stan is involved with mentoring the New Century High School Cyber Patriot Team and is currently serving as a director for the North Alabama Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) chapter as the past chapter president from 2017 through 2021. He has earned two bachelor’s degrees from The University of Alabama in Finance and in Russian, as well as a Masters in Cybersecurity from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He holds several certifications from CompTIA, ISACA, and ISA and has been married to his wife Tiffany Lozovsky for over fifteen years.
